Volleyball once again proved to be too much for their opponents, this time Hampton County were the victims in the second round of state playoffs Monday night. Set scores were 25-4, 25-8, and 25-14.Caroline Plyler hit 1000 set assist last night in the middle of the third set against Hampton County. At the end of the night, her total currently stands at 1003 set assist as a varsity player. Jaylin Larrimore had a .458 attack percentage with 14 kills. Abbie Brasington had a .583 attack percentage with 7 kills. Six girls served with 100% accuracy: Jaylin Larrimore, Ava Vincent (2 aces), McKenzie Gresham (5 aces), Ande Stevens (1 ace), Alexis Bridges, and Reese Knight (2 aces). “The girls came ready to take care of business. It makes me smile to see the support of our parents, school, and community of this group of girls. Now we gear up to take on Philip Simmons,” said coach Adrianna Bowers. The travel to Charleston Wednesday for round three.
