Football games are a celebration. Crowds roaring, music blasting, bleachers erupting and vibrating with overdramatic cheering and screaming. And I’m just there. Reading a book. What else am I supposed to do, watch the field?
Hello Jackets, it’s me, Landon Bryson, writing to you with a short but, in my opinion, important message. I’m also just going to yap about whatever. Hopefully you can take all of it.
I was just thinking about the past two weeks, or really few months, or really the past year and a half! A lot has happened, not only in my life, but the lives around me. I was considering everything that’s been happening these past few weeks more than anything.
I guess the message I wanted to deliver, or the theme or whatever, was to just be kind. In my opinion, there isn’t enough time in the world to be recklessly mean just to prove a point. Also, we never know what could happen, one day we could be smiling and the next minute something happens and our world crashes to the ground.
I’m just saying, personally, I’d rather spend my time getting things done, talking to people in a good way, than tearing people down just because you can. Our country has been through some crazy stuff recently, deaths, school shootings. Don’t debate these topics on social media like they’re would-you-rather questions. And don’t use these topics to hurt others either.
We’d get a lot more done in this country, this world if we weren’t split or divided by the things we cause.
Well, that’s it for this week. Sorry I don’t have much to write about, but I felt like I had to yap about things that people will probably forget in a few days (I am no exception when I say this). Until next time, it’s your favorite blind Jacket!
