Lindsay Johnson’s and Saundra Meadows’ classes visited the South Carolina State House for a field trip to learn about state government, history, and civic engagement. They explored the architecture, toured the legislative chambers and learned about the role of lawmakers in shaping policies. Students also gained firsthand knowledge of the democratic process and the importance of active citizenship.
