After a taking a loss to Hartsville in the first trimatch, the Yellow Jackets bounced back with a win against Lancaster 48-32 at home Tuesday night. Seniors Nate Gardner and Tucker Bohn each recorded a pin to lead the team. Coach Garrett Plyler commented: “We were short handed–got kids out for various reasons. Hopefully we can get our full lineup back soon. Not where we need to be as far as conditioning, mental toughness–we’re just not there yet.” Buford will travel to Chesterfield for a trimatch against the Rams and the Lamar High School Silver Foxes on Wednesday.
