Mr. Richie Knight is the broadcast adviser. This is his 26th year in the Lancaster County School District, his fifth year at BHS as the Multipurpose Building Administrator and second year as technical advisor for The Stinger.  Mr. Knight is the co-creator of LEARN-TV, the school district’s television station and was an executive producer for the channel for over 20 years. He began his career in broadcasting in the mid 80s and worked as a photojournalist for WSOC-TV in Charlotte. He looks forward to working with the broadcasting component for BHS journalism and sharing the great stories about great Yellow Jackets.  In his spare time he enjoys finding treasures at yard sales, estate sales and thrift stores to sell online.  He and his wife Debbie are now empty nesters, since his daughter Hannah got married last the summer and his son Ryan just graduated from Liberty University.
